RBI Assistant 2018 Notification

Last year the Reserve Bank of India the notification for the recruitment of RBI Assistants in the month of October and the examinations for the recruitment process were conducted in November and December 2017. This year also, it is expected to be released in October or November.

RBI Assistant 2018 Exam Dates

Last year, the prelims examination was conducted in the month of October and the mains examination was conducted in the month of December. This year also, the dates of RBI Assistant 2018 Prelims and Mains Examinations are expected to fall in November and December.

RBI Assistant Admit Card 2018

The admit cards for the prelims and mains examination will be released at least 15 days before these examinations are conducted. The link will be provided here as soon as the call letters for the examination are out.

RBI Assistant 2018 Vacancies

Last year (2017), the number of vacancies for the post of RBI Assistant was 623. The bank releases the vacancies as per the requirement in the bank and we will get an update regarding the same as soon as this year’s notification is out.

RBI Assistant Selection Procedure

As per the recruitments held previously, the selection is done through online examinations that will be followed by a language proficiency test in one’s local/official language.
1. Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
2. Online Mains Examination (Objective Test)
3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)The final selection was made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online mains examination and LPT is only qualifying in nature.Note: One will not be selected for the post if she fails the language proficiency test no matter how much she has scored in the preliminary or mains examination.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2018

In the year 2017, candidates were required to be in the age group of 20-28 years as on 1st of October 2017 and also, it was necessary for them to be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. This year, the eligibility criteria to apply for the post of RBI Assistant is expected to remain the same. Rest depends on the notification and you will get an update here as soon as the official notification for the recruitment process is out.

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern

In the year 2017, the examination was conducted in two stages, i.e. Online Preliminary and Mains Examination (both objective) and the pattern was as follows:

1. Rs. 50 for SC/ ST/ PWD/EXS Candidates.

RBI Assistant Result 2018

The results of RBI Assistant Prelims and Mains Exam will be released 15-20 days post the conduction of examinations.

RBI Assistant Cut Off Scores

The cut-off scores released by RBI depends on the number of vacancies announced in that particular year, number of candidates who appear for the examination as well as the level of the examination that is conducted in order to carry out the recruitment process.
